Administration:
The Administration Committee is responsible for the "O'Connell Crew" handbook, historical documentation, team uniforms and accessories, novice and erg training activities, local transportation (chaperones and transportation requests), trip arrangements (food, lodging, transportation and chaperones) and other administrative support required by the President.
Communications:
The Communications Committee is responsible for communicating information about the Team and Boosters Club and their respective activities through our team website, e-mail newsletter, press secretary, telephone tree and school administration liaisons.
Fundraising : The fundraising Committee is responsible for all fund raising activities.
Equipment: The Maintenance Committee is responsible for maintaining the equipment used by the BOC Team, maintaining a list of that equipment and for recommending to the Board purchases of new or replacement equipment.
DJO Liaison :
The Regatta Committee is responsible for coordinating volunteer participation in regattas conducted by NCASRA and other recognized rowing associations. Members of the Regatta Committee shall serve as the Club's representatives at NCASRA, District Local Organizing Committee ("DLOC") and Thompson's Boathouse meetings and related activities. They shall also serve as liaison between Coaches, the Booster Club and athletes. Click here to read U. S. Rowing Association Safety Guidelines.
Spirit: The Spirit Committee is responsible for organizing the Club's social events (other than fundraiser's) and the snacks provided at Team practices and regattas. The Spirit Committee is also responsible for establishing and maintaining a "dock parent" system for Team practices.
